The Legend 552C combines a highspeed DSP processor with color imaging (640 x 480 resolution). The RAM has been increased to 128MB and Flash memory to 16MB. The Legend 552C performs accelerated inspections such as presence/absence and defect detection. It quickly nalyzes shapes and precisely inspects multiple and overlapping parts in a wide range of light conditions. As an advanced Industrial Reader, the Legend 552C reads 1D, 2D, and stacked barcodes like PDF 417. It also includes a robust OCR package that reads and interprets characters from virtually any language in the fastest manufacturing/production environments.
